MOTOGP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

THE YOUNG CHAMPIONS FROM THE SIDI STABLES, Moto2 & 125cc

Young aces from the Sidi stables gave an excellent performance in the second stage of World Motorcycle Championship that took place Sunday, May 2nd on the Jerez track in Spain. Japan’s Shoya Tomizawa (Suter, Technomag-CIP) was brilliant in the new Moto2. After opening his 2010 season with a beautiful victory in Qatar, he reaffirmed his position in the high ranks by taking second place on the heels of Tony Elias. This important placing allows Tomizawa to maintain his firm lead in the world standings after his first two events. Three Sidi pilots were among the top 10 in the Moto2 race. Besides Tomizawa‘s second, Spain’s Sergio Gadea (PonsKalex,Tenerife40Pons) did well with a sixth place, while Colombian Yonny Hernandez (BQR,Blusens-STX) came in tenth.

The young riders in the 125cc class also had a podium, with Spain’s Esteve Rabat (Aprilia, Blusens-STX) taking third on his home track, right behind his fellow countrymen Espargaro and Terol. On track with the Sidi champions there are of course the Sidi Vortice boots, a winning mix of technology and design that gives to the riders the maximum of the performance and at the same time the maximum of security and comfort to the feet.
