23 August, 2010 - On Sunday, August 22nd in Brazil, Tony Cairoli (Team Ktm De Carli) won the 2010 World Title in MX1, with two races left in the series. Cairoli thus gave Sidi their second consecutive world title in the motocross "ruling class", claiming his fourth career title if you add it to his two victories in the MX2. No other Italian pilot has ever won as much in the history of motocross. As a member of the great Sidi - branded champions, Cairoli received kudos from legendary champion Stefan Everts.

The race in Brazil was an uphill battle for the Sicilian ace. On the Campo Grande circuit in race 1 Cairoli came back from behind in 19th place to 2nd place, and in race 2 with only two laps to go until the finish, the Sicilian seized victory from Belgium's Desalle, his closest rival in the competition for the World Title. Along with Cairoli, Sidi Crossfire boots are world champions, too; they're the unbeatable number one boots in off road racing, even on the most difficult terrain. "It's truly incredible! “The World title was so close - explains Cairoli-. But when I saw how things were shaping up after the start I didn't think I'd already be winning here. This year I changed bikes and to win for a second year in a row with an all new motorcycle was a great challenge. I dedicate this victory to my family and to everyone who supports me and believes in me."
